Look at it! I made this!

This was a request from a friend to make a pendant like one they found on the internet. The reference image was uncredited, but if anyone comes forward and says, “hey, that looks a lot like mine,” I’m happy to admit it was not all my idea. I used some techniques I’m more familiar with to make it more stable and make it more my own, but the general placement of elements is the same.

It was a fun challenge! A lot of my friends are Star Trek nerds so I am really interested in developing my own version of this.

I also made this for my friend’s kid, who is really into D&D, I wanted to make it look like a magic item. I’m getting a reputation for wrapping the weird stones. I love raw stuff and I’m not afraid of “fragile.”

I have deactivated my Facebook for the time being, though I still have Instagram. I want to be able to still share what I have with my family, friends, and, oddly, fans (I love you all I’m just surprised.). Get at me via email for the time being.

I still have to keep Facebook available for work, but the more time I spend away, the easier it is to stay away. I’m excited for the concept of this blog, and maybe thinking about an email newsletter.

Happy to be beginning yet again on a new platform, and hopefully something I can have more control of. Interested to see what I can do on here. Mostly want a place to document art, but I also want to have a platform to write.
