I hate when creators have to explain their disappearances

So I’m not gonna. Suffice it to say I’ve been doing things.

I have been working the Arizona Renaissance festival selling jewelry and sewing during the week. I went to the gem show with a jeweler friend, saw some fossils and got some gems. I worked on a comic I started a year ago with my partner that I really want to finish (so close) I applied for a show. I finished my first big pendant of the year. I made a topical Fuck ICE illustration, learning digital a bit in the process. I picked up a sewing machine that works. I test drove a few vehicles to try and see if I can handle a bigger van. I went into the desert alone to sleep for a night to figure out if I could (I can). I’m trying to see some friends.

I have some photos from all this, but while I do want to get my feet under me digitally, and start building a platform for real, I will roll my eyes so deeply at anyone who suggests that I haven’t been putting energy into my art.
